Register for Sconex

Sconex is invite-by-geography. We check your location once, right now — your city is set from where you actually are, and it’s locked for good.

Step 1 — verify you’re in a Sconex city

How we use your location

What we collect: one precise GPS reading from your browser, only when you tap “Verify my location.” We never track you in the background or after signup.

Why: the reading is checked once against our city boundaries to confirm you’re physically in a Sconex city, and to lock in your city at signup.

What we keep: the verified coordinates and a verification stamp are saved with your profile so your city can’t be faked later. Your exact coordinates are never shown to other members, sold, or used for ads.

You can deny the browser permission at any time — verification is only required once, when you join.

Heads up: you can only see and talk to members from your city, and it can never be changed.

I am 18 or older and I agree to the Sconex House Rules — no nudity, hate speech, bad language, or attacking members.
